"Keeping up to date with trends and textures is what a Makeup Artist is all about. Having quality products in your makeup artist kit and constantly educating yourself on application techniques are the key to being a good makeup artist."
What's in my kit is my most frequently asked question. And the answer is products that have proven that they can last a very emotional day. Bridal makeup has to be long-wearing before anything else. After-all, the threat of tears, rain and humidity is high! But I wanted my kit to reflect the quality and luxury of a wedding day.
Our whole team have fully equipped kits filled with high-quality, luxurious products as our clients deserve only the best products!
Everything gets thoroughly reviewed and road tested by us before it goes into our kits.
We all use so many different brands in out kits but to name a few we use a range of Nars, Stila, Mac, Laura Mercier, Armani, Bobbi Brown, Benefit, Tom ford, , Estee Lauder, Viseart, Inglot, By Terry, Makeup Forever and Chanel.
Being an animal lover I personally favour brands that do not test on animals such as Charlotte Tilbury, Hourglass, Stila, Urban Decay, Chantecaille, Tarte, Zoeva, Toofaced and Face Atelier.
My philosophy with my kit is try everything and have lots of different things in your kit so you can cater for a larger audience. The best way I have found to maintain "a use on everyone/anytime" kit is to buy products individually in my colours for my personal use first and give them a good try out. If they impress me and last the day (sometimes from 5am till midnight if I am working and attending a wedding) a great product that lasts the distance will then be purchased in multiple colors for my kit.
